x6tence veteran Jonathan "MusambaN1" Torrent will not be able to play for his team in the ECS Season 5 European closed qualifier due to a hand injury.
The 31-year-old will be out of action for at least month after tests revealed a fracture to the fifth metacarpal bone of his left hand.
In a video posted on his Youtube channel, Jonathan "MusambaN1" Torrent admitted to being "shattered" by the fact that he will not be able to partake in the closed qualifier, in which x6tence secured a spot after finishing top two in the Southern & Eastern Europe open qualifier.
Replacing MusambaN1 on the roster for the qualifier will be Carlos Andrés "TheClaran" Gonzálvez, who is part of x6tence's secondary team.
The qualifier will run from February 16-18 and feature 16 teams from all over Europe, who will duke it out for four spots in the Challenger Cup, from which the top two will make it to the ECS league.
x6tence will compete in the qualifier with:
Antonio "FlipiN" Rivas del Rey
Jose "HUMANZ" Luis Cebrian Martinez
Iván "NaOw" González
Tomás "Ergasster" Perez
Carlos Andrés "TheClaran" Gonzálvez (stand-in)
